We have a mini (okay read that as six trees) orchard in our yard. There are four apple trees and two cherry trees. The apples are starting to look ripe and the ones we have tasted are yummy. Tonight the boys and I went apple picking for a few test recipes. (I have yet to figure out exactly what to do with several hundred apples.)

You Dry them and Freeze them like Grandma used to. She would make Fried Apple Pies with them and Fried Apples for Holidays.
