Teague not only came in the living room with sunglasses. They were neatly arranged on his shirt.
I saw these paper airplane valentines on Pinterest and thought both Alex and Wade would love making them. They took some time today to make them and then Teague of course wanted airplanes too!
Wade and I did the folding, Alex did the taping, and Alex signed his own name to each airplane. (Teague loved watching all the activity.)
We had a lot of empty boxes sitting around so the boys decided to decorate them for me.
It’s a Lego kind of day.

These boys love to mop. Too bad they aren’t quite at the point where I can let them do it all!

I love the boys’ dentist, but have one small issue with their terminology. At their last visit, Dr. Ric announced that Alex has a cavity. Instead of using the word cavity, they use “sugar bug”. He had always commented that the grooves in Alex’s molars were rather deep (and almost impossible to adequately brush) and would require watching. A small cavity has finally appeared. The dentist is afraid it will be larger and painful for Alex before he loses the baby tooth. He recommended having the cavity filled. Alex was pretty good through hearing all of this until he learned that the sugar bug wouldn’t be removed for two months (their first opening for a cavity filling). Then he got really upset. I think in this instance he really thought a bug was in his tooth. Due to our impending move, I asked to be put on a waiting list and they had an opening this morning. Wade took Alex and he was a champ. They even let him bring his mask home.
Working on the ABCs.
Today I got motivated to work on Teague’s life book (essentially an adoption word for baby book). I have had this box of papers/pictures since we brought Teague home from Korea and today I started to sort and pile. I have decided to use Project Life (because I love it) and hopefully this one can be done fairly quickly. I have already warned Wade I need a little bit of Photoshop/Illustrator help and he seems willing.
Of course I decided to start this during nap time and the boys both work up early. This is as far as I had gotten when suddenly two boys needed attention.

More snow eating.
