Month: September 2012
This boy still loves his shower – and isn’t bothered a bit by water in his face.
Alex loves to get a new magazine in the mail. We read it over and over and over…
My garden is doing really well this year (especially considering I just “wing” it every year and know nothing about gardening). I got one green bean last year, but we’ve had tons this year! At least four meals worth (not counting the leftovers) and still more growing! The green beans are also huge, which has freaked Alex out a bit.
Two things to note in this picture.
1.) The loveys sitting in a row behind Alex. This is his solution to not having enough room in the bed. I tried to make a two lovey limit at bedtime but got over-ruled.
2.) Alex has become a master at delaying. Here he is saying “But Mom, one more thing.”
Asher is in “real” school this year so it was just Abby and Alex today. The weather was a little uncertain so we started the morning at the Public Museum and ended with lunch on the beach. Don’t Abby and Alex almost look like they are dancing in the pictures on the rocks? (In reality Abby wanted off the rocks and Alex kept trying to hug her.)
I decided to ask Alex a list of questions. The answers were pretty funny. We’ll see how they change next year.
