Alex woke up to a street full of construction equipment – all for his house! (We are having our old garage floor removed and a new floor poured – because it slopes the wrong way and doesn’t drain). The guys were great with Alex and thankfully worked quickly. They were done by nap time.
Wade and I decided the cool weather was perfect for a trip to the State Fair (which we had actually planned to skip this year). I think we really went to get our favorite foods – roasted corn for Wade and a funnel cake for me.
