Toadfrogs

It’s Official

The Burch family can definitely say we are “Northerners”. As I was going through our prictures from DC, I found this one and had to laugh.

Living in a place with lots of snow means the “proper” thing to do at a house is take off your shoes at the door. The snow gets in the treads and doesn’t come off with a stomp or floor mat. It waits and melts off as you walk around a house. It’s become such habit that we normally continue this during the summer too. When I realized we were subconsciously doing it in the hotel room I had to smile!
