Alex found Wade’s headphones and wanted to listen to music. Wade chose the “Terrible Twos” for him.

Helping Mom make bran muffins.
We’ve been spending a lot of time at the yogurt place. Alex always wants “Chocolate”. (That’s my boy!)
Alex’s new backpack came in the mail today (yes it matches his lunchbox). He loved the idea of filling it with toys and wearing it around the house. I mentioned that he could take it on the plane with Pop (when he goes to visit in a few weeks). Now Alex refuses to take the toys out because it is ready for the airplane with Pop. Someday he’ll understand days and time.
A read-by-the-fire kind of night.
Today was an awesome fall day! Alex loved the idea of playing outside after MDO. His favorite activity was digging in the dirt.
In years past I have stocked up on Halloween supplies for our party the day after Halloween. Alex and I were ready early this morning so we ran by Target to see what was left (and on sale 50%). I got a few more pumpkin carving kits and then saw these Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin Decorating Kits. We bought the pirate and skeleton and I planned on them being fun for next year. I forgot to put them up before Alex got home and he wanted to play with them. We happened to have one small uncarved pumpkin left so now we have a pirate!
How not to hold a cat!
(Alex was holding her tummy and then his grip slipped. I happened to get a picture before I realized what had happened. Throughout it all our awesome cat didn’t struggle or scratch at all.)
The first picture we saw of Teague.
