Month: August 2010
This is definitely my child.
Very excited about hearing a plane. (I didn’t tell him it was actually a train.)
Alex was such a great baby last summer and last winter when it came to hats. He wore them all the time and never pulled at them or cried. This summer he will have nothing to do with them. My best bet is to put one on his head and immediately distract him, but that usually only works long enough for a picture. Today he picked up his fire hat (from Tosa’s Night Out) and kept trying to wear it.
Fireman Alex to the rescue (he put his hat on by himself).
Enjoying an ice cream treat at Tosa’s Night Out.
Wade and I have declared the month of August as “Adventure Month”. We have no planned projects or plans to be productive. Instead we are going to do fun things. First up on the list was Tosa’s Night Out for some live music and fun. It worked out that the Strouds were also going so we made plans to meet up. We walked to Hart Park and introduced Alex to hotdogs. We also created a double stroller for Alex and Abram.
Just swinging.
Wade and I were in our room getting ready for church and listening to Alex play in his room (or so I thought). I suddenly heard his voice get muffled and thought he had shut his door, which he can’t always get open by himself. When I went to investigate, I found him stuck in the shower.
