Amber, Amy, and I signed up for a cake decorating class. The first class met tonight and we were told to bring 6 flat sugar cookies. Judy (Wade’s mom) has a great recipe and we have a history of making sugar cookies at our house (see here and here and here and here). I made the dough yesterday and baked the cookies while Alex was napping.
Alex was excited to try a cookie when he woke up and it disappeared in no time (I can only imagine when he gets one with icing and sprinkles):
We are taking the Beginner Cake Decorating Class by Wilton offered at our local Michael’s store. The class meets for 2 hours for 4 weeks. I learned a lot last night and can’t wait to try baking a cake for next week.
