Alex and I joined the Strouds for the Brookfield Fourth of July Parade. Abram and Alex didn’t want to miss a thing (including the candy being thrown):
Eventually the heat and no morning nap seemed to get to Alex and he was happy to sit in his stroller:
Wade spent the day roofing his shed and finishing our front steps. He worked all day, but everything is done (except for me painting the shed)!
We ended the day by grilling kabobs and making s’mores. It turns out our second story balcony is the perfect place to see the Wauwatosa fireworks.
