Wade and I spent the morning around the house finishing up a few last minute things. We have raspberries growing in the backyard so I picked a bowl for our drive to Chicago:
The hour flight was only slightly delayed and we were back in Paducah. Alex didn’t seem too concerned that we had been gone for a week. We loaded him up to visit Wade’s parents, grandparents, and sister. Granny was only too happy to snuggle while Alex had his milk:
