Wade and Alex started the morning with some quality father-son time. I slept in. It was great to wake up to a baby down for a nap and a husband cleaning up the kitchen from last night’s dinner. We bummed around until Alex woke up and then headed to East Milwaukee for breakfast at Jo’s Cafe (courtesy of Wade’s sister). We all had a yummy breakfast and Wade got biscuits and sawmill gravy:
Alex kept us entertained the rest of the day. He was incredibly happy and into everything:

(Wade fixed the lens! I hadn’t gotten around to mailing it in and he looked up the problem online. Evidently this particular lens has a weak spot and often gets messed up with even a gentle fall. He was able to make the repair.)
