Snow Day

I’ve been waiting for today all winter – we got lots of light, fluffy snow. It has snowed all day and is supposed to continue through till tomorrow morning.

Madison and I played a little while Alex napped:

We waited for Wade to get home to introduce Alex to snow. The only time Alex cried is when he stuck his face in the snow. Otherwise he just crawled around or was content to be carried. I’m not sure he actually noticed the white stuff.

Then Alex and I went to visit Amber and Abram while Wade cleared the driveway. Abram let Alex ride in his sled. The next picture was taken right before Alex dumped a mitten full of snow in Abram’s face.

We decided a fire was needed. Alex was very interested in the entire process:

I think Alex is trying to tell me something. I found him in the bathroom playing with his pajamas and diaper:

  1. Cute pictures of Alex! Looks like you all got a lot more snow than we did in Paducah. We did get enough to miss two days of school since it’s so cold. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

  2. We got 10 inches and no school closings. I love every bit of it!

  3. Having read this I believed it was rllaey enlightening. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!
