It turns out my mom is coming to visit in a few weeks. Because of this, Wade and I have a lot we want to get done. Most importantly was finishing the painting upstairs so that we could rip up the carpets and have the hardwood floors refinished. (Carpet makes a nice easy drop cloth.) We spent the entire last week working hard. The house is old so there was a lot of patch work to do before we could even think about priming the walls. The trim paint has to be enamel (I hate oil based paint) so I wanted to do that before we painted the walls. Anyway, as of last night, the upstairs hall and bedroom are done!
The bathroom is still having some work done on it, but you can see the color we are thinking about painting it. We picked out a cool new sink, but I don’t have a picture of that yet.
