Toadfrogs

Why oh Why?

Wade and I have recently discovered clementines. I love them! They are so small and sweet. They are easy to peel and rarely have seeds. For those of you who don’t know what a clementine is, let me share with you my research: Clementines are the tiniest of the mandarins. Imported from Spain, Morocco, and other parts of North Africa, clementines are a cross between a sweet orange and a Chinese mandarin. They are in season from October through February.

Now, the reason I was doing research. Clementines are always sold in boxes and never singly. Does anyone know why? Even though I can buy apples in a bag, I always have the option of buying just one. There are a lot of clementines in a box and I always have to rush to eat them before they go bad.

  1. kathryn always has a plentiful supply of clementines for us.

  2. Kathryn has excellent taste.
